Within a few days of placement , all three billboards that been placed (a total of six were planned) were removed, all by MISTAKE by DOT, and a company that looks after Hwy1. The mistake was corrected, and CBC showed up just as one billboard was brought back. A week later, SSNB volunteers had erected all 6 billboards across the province.
These incidents led to great media coverage by CBC radio and TV on September 17’18!
